We’re so glad you’re here!

We hope you’ll join us for our weekend experience where we worship in a high-energy, safe and engaging environment.
At Church at Viera, there are some things you can expect. We hold four culturally relevant worship services in two different venues. We are conservative in our theology but flexible in our methodology. We hold tight to biblical convictions but are grace-oriented in our approach. We build up parents to be the faith influencers in their families. We are a large church with big visions but build community through small groups. We seek to make a caring impact through serving in our neighborhoods, our county and through our global initiatives. We seek to be a place of grace where Christ changes lives.
I’m New

Our cavKIDZ ministry aims to engage your kids with love and intentional teaching about Jesus. Our weekend experience is offered every service and our weekday preschool is designed for parents who want a safe and nurturing place for their child throughout the week.

Teens need a place to gather where they can be accepted but also be challenged in a loving way. Our goal is to show students that God loves them for who they are, teach them about His word and to provide an environment where they can meet friends to share life with.

Starting Point is your next step to get connected at CAV. We offer this class that covers our core beliefs and DNA, our approach to ministry, where and how you can serve, how you can impact and what it means to be a member of CAV.

Class details are updated here as classes become available.

Our desire is to provide the opportunity for you to express your heart in worship, connect with others and impact the world around you with the love of Christ.

We strive to create a worshipful culture that enables you to express your love for God. CAV is passionate about providing exciting and dynamic times of worship during our weekend services and at many of our events throughout the year. For us, worship is a lifestyle.

We want to help you and your family find others with whom you can share life and grow. Whatever age group – children, students, or adults – we offer groups and events that will enable you to engage in real, authentic fellow ship with others just like you.

We are passionate about impacting the lives of others, spiritually and physically. Whether by volunteering in one of our ministries at CAV, serving the needs of our community, or spreading the gospel globally, we want to partner with you in carrying out the Great Commission.

We believe that there is one God, manifested in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Genesis 1:26; Matt 28:19-20; 2 Cor 13:14

We believe that Jesus is the one and only Son of God, was born of a virgin, is wholly God and wholly man, lived a sinless life, died as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of mankind, was buried, arose from the grave and ascended into Heaven.
John 1:14; 3:16; Matt 4; Luke 4; Heb 4:15; 2 Cor 5:21

We believe in the literal, bodily return of Jesus Christ to earth.
Rev 19

We believe that man is a special creation of God, made in His image.
Gen 1:26-27

We believe that mankind fell through the sin of the first man, Adam, and that all people are sinners in need of salvation.
Gen 3:15; Rom 5:12-15

We believe that salvation is a gift of grace from God, received through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Rom 6:23; Titus 3:5; Eph 2:8-9; John 1:12

We believe that every person who truly is saved is eternally secure in the Lord Jesus Christ.
John 10:28-30; Eph 1:13-14; Heb 7:25; 10:10,14

We believe that those persons who die without faith in Jesus Christ spend eternity in Hell and those persons who die with their sins forgiven, through faith in Christ, spend eternity in Heaven.
John 3:16; Rev 20:14-15

We believe that water baptism is in obedience to the command of Christ and is by immersion after salvation.
Rom 6:3-10

We believe that the local church is the local body of baptized believers with the Lord Jesus Christ as the head.
Eph 1:22-23

We believe that each believer has direct access to God through the Lord Jesus Christ and the Bible, God’s Word.
1 Tim 2:5-6; Heb 10:19-26

We believe in the separation of church and state, but not in the separation of God and government.
1 Peter 2:13-17

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God without any error, the sole authority for life.
2 Tim 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21

Church at Viera started in 1987 as a small group called Suntree Baptist Chapel. In 1992, the mission church called Mark Ragsdale to be lead pastor and relaunched with the new name Church at Viera. For four years, we met in the School Board Facility as the first church in Viera. We then built our first facility in 1996 on 10.7 acres on Murrell Road. 380 people attended our Grand Opening services.
In 2003, we made the decision to purchase 30 acres on Wickham Road and Stadium Parkway. We relocated the church in 2007 to our present location with over 1,000 people in average attendance. Today we average over 1,900 in weekend attendance and over 3,000 on special holidays.
In the coming years, we will seek to build out our 30 acre site with facilities which will enable us to expand our ministries to thousands in this county. We want every person in this county to hear how Jesus Christ can change his or her life. Our leadership team is always searching for ways that we can share God’s love and have a greater impact locally and globally.
