Centro de Esperanza (‘Hope Center’ in English) serves one of the most impoverished communities of San Jose, working with at risk families to respond to their basic physical and emotional needs. This includes a daily nutritional meal for more than 300 people in the community. The ultimate goal is to provide hope and healing for the whole community.
Hope Partners provides the main support for this endeavor. CAV has joined with them to send teams and assist in food prep, after school programs, and other projects in and around the Hope Center. Click here to learn more about Hope Partners International. Click here to learn more about Hope Center.

Russka Village is home to single women and children seeking escape from violent situations. There are accommodations providing food, electricity and clean water for women and children. The goal is to offer training and education for the women to become self-sustaining, and ensure that children are receiving education and care.
CAV seeks to assist with the ongoing needs of the village by providing material and personnel support through our teams. Trips to Haiti are generally conducted Friday through Monday, giving each participant an impactful trip over a relatively short span of time. Click here to learn more about Russka Village.

Huacho is a sea side town where surfing, skateboarding, and other adventure sports are the norm. Our partner church seeks to reach the young families and youth of this growing community. Ultimately the plan is to open a surf/coffee shop to minister most effectively as outreach opportunities present themselves. Click here to learn more about the Christian Church in Huacho.
CAV teams participate in the unique outreach opportunities, including skate and surf events and provide support for the ongoing ministries of the church and the potential opening of the surf shop.

The Zuni and Navajo tribes have a rich spiritual heritage. Both of these proud nations still practice their traditions and ceremonies with great honor and pride. However, they are in need of hope for the future rather than reliance on the past. Our partnership with these tribes includes camp ministry, after-school programs, church construction, children and youth outreach, and leadership development.
Inlow Camp reaches Native Americans from all over the state of New Mexico. We have the privilege of joining them each summer to provide support and staffing for their family camp.
