Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect when I visit?

We provide a God-glorifying, high-energy, engaging worship environment. We’d describe ourselves as conservative in our theology, but flexible in our methodology.

Service and Worship

What happens during a worship service at CAV?

During our weekend service, you’ll experience high-energy, Christ-centered worship as our church praises God through song.

What is the teaching like?

You can expect culturally relevant teaching based on the unchanging word of God. One of our pastors will teach from the Bible, which helps us learn more about who God is, what He’s done, and how we can apply His truth to our lives.

What should I wear?

We want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable, so you’ll see a wide range of dress here. We invite you to dress casually.

Where should I park as a first-time-guest?

When you enter our campus you will see signs instructing first-time guests to turn their hazard lights on. This will alert our Crew that you are visiting for the first time. A dedicated Crew member will direct you to first-time guest parking and then walk with you inside to be welcomed by our CAV family.

Children and Students

What if my baby starts crying?

If your baby starts crying during the service, we invite you to move to our nursing mothers’ room, lobby seating, or our loft where you can continue to watch the service.

What programs do you have for my kids?

During each weekend service, your children can participate in worship and small group time geared to their age group with our CAV Kids programs. We offer classes for the following ages:

  • Infant – Pre-K
  • Kindergarten – 5th Grade

Kids can participate in large group gatherings, Bible study, and activities designed for their specific age group and geared to help them grow in their faith.

About CAV Kids

What security policies do you have in place to keep my kids safe?

All children receive a name tag with alpha numeric code. This code matches a “Parent Tag.” Children will not be dismissed from their environment without a matching Parent Tag.

All CAV Kids volunteers undergo background checks to ensure that your child will be as safe as possible.

All CAV Kids environments are closely monitored by members of our trained safety team.

Once services begin, all doors leading into the kids’ wing are locked to protect students.

Can my child join me for worship and then go to CAV Kids?

Your child is welcome to join you for worship. Please note, when your child joins their small group late, they will miss out on some of the fun activities that we’ve planned for them. For safety and security purposes, we ask that you accompany your child to check in.

What programs do you have for my middle schooler?

Our middle school students gather during our Sunday morning services. They will be a part of a high-energy environment where they will play games, learn biblical truths, and establish an authentic faith of their own.
